WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM BIPARTISON INFRASTRUCTURE LAW PUBLIC HEARING AND STATE PLAN

The Weatherization Assistance Program Bipartison Infrastruture Law (BIL) state plan public hearing is scheduled for September 27, 2022 at 9:00 am.

Click below for additional public hearing details and the WAP BIL State Plan draft. The Iowa Commission on Community Action Agencies will meet to finalize the plan on September 27, 2022.

LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLD WATER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The LIHWAP is available to assist households in avoiding disconnection from their drinking water and wastewater source. Households who are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level and are disconnected from service, have received a disconnection notice, or are currently on a payment plan that they cannot maintain may be eligible for assistance.

Schedule an appointment with a Family Services Specialist or call our office to apply for assistance.

NEW: HEAD START PRESCHOOL OPENINGS

The Head Start Program has openings for the Fall 2022 school year. This program is a FREE full day, full week preschool experience for low-income and disabled children ages 3-5.
