FINANCIAL REPORTS

IRS FORM 990

The IRS Form 990 is titled “Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax.” It is submitted by tax-exempt organizations and non-profit organizations to provide the Internal Revenue Service with annual financial information. The Form 990 provides the public with financial information about a given organization, and is often the only source of such information. It is also used by government agencies to prevent organizations from abusing their tax-exempt status.

Public Inspection IRC 6104(d) regulations state that an organization must provide copies of its three most recent Form 990s to anyone who requests them, whether in person, by mail, fax, or e-mail.

NEICAC COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT

New in September 2023, Iowa’s Community Action Network is conducting a survey to study the needs that individuals and families may be experiencing in their lives. The results will be considered by NEICAC for planning, developing, and delivering agency programs and services to the people that reside in our communities.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete; there are 50+ multiple choice type questions and a few questions that are open-ended (questions you can type a response). All replies are anonymous and will be treated confidentially. If you have already completed the survey during a recent interaction with an NEICAC Team Member, please do not complete it again. Click below to complete the survey!

MESSAGES OF APPRECIATION

Embrace Iowa

“Embrace Iowa helped our family be getting us a stove. The stove we had was hazardous. When we would cook on it, it would stink the whole house up. Also, it leaked underneath the stove. That stove was so small that my two year old son could see inside the pan without standing on anything. Now, with our new stove we can cook without smelling anything or without cleaning up a leaky mess. Thanks so much for our new stove. We really appreciated it.”
